# Spot Trading

Spot Trading allows you to swap supported tokens directly from your wallet without using leverage.

When you complete a spot trade, you exchange one token for another at the available execution price. The purchased tokens are transferred to your wallet, where you retain ownership and control.

The current version of Flipper is available on Solana. Support for EVM-compatible networks is planned for future releases.

## <mark style="color:$primary;">What Is Spot Trading?</mark>

Spot Trading is designed for users who want to own the underlying asset rather than trade a leveraged position.

Unlike perpetual futures, spot trades:

* Do not use leverage
* Do not incur funding payments
* Cannot be liquidated
* Settle directly into your wallet

Once a trade is completed, the tokens remain in your wallet until you transfer or sell them.

## <mark style="color:$primary;">One Flipper Account</mark>

You can use the same wallet across all Flipper products.

In the current release, switching between Spot Trading, Perpetual Futures, and DeForex may require an additional wallet signature when you access a product for the first time. This is expected behavior and establishes the required trading account for that product.

Once connected, you can continue using the same wallet across the Flipper ecosystem.

Choose Spot Trading if your goal is to own the underlying asset.&#x20;

Choose Perpetual Futures if you want leveraged long or short exposure without purchasing the underlying token.
