# Smart Routing

Smart Routing automatically evaluates available execution routes across supported liquidity venues before your order is submitted.

Instead of manually comparing price, liquidity, and fees across multiple execution venues, Flipper analyzes the available options and presents a recommended route before you confirm the trade.

## <mark style="color:$primary;">How Smart Routing Works</mark>

For each order, Flipper retrieves live market data from supported venues that are compatible with the selected market and collateral.

The routing engine evaluates each available route using factors such as:

* available liquidity;
* expected execution price;
* estimated slippage;
* trading fees;
* venue availability;
* route availability.

Based on these factors, Flipper recommends the route expected to provide the best overall execution quality.

## <mark style="color:$primary;">Before You Confirm</mark>

Before submitting your order, the AI Copilot panel displays the recommended execution details, including:

* recommended execution route;
* expected entry price;
* estimated trading fees;
* estimated slippage;
* Confidence Score.

The Confidence Score reflects the routing engine's confidence in the recommended path based on the market data available at the time of the request.

All execution details are displayed before you approve the transaction.

## <mark style="color:$primary;">Smart Mode and Manual Mode</mark>

Flipper supports two routing modes.

### <mark style="color:$primary;">Smart Mode — Default</mark>

The routing engine automatically selects a recommended execution route based on current market conditions. The user still reviews and approves the transaction before execution.

### <mark style="color:$primary;">Manual Mode</mark>

Manual Mode allows you to choose how your order is allocated across supported liquidity venues.

This mode is intended for traders who prefer direct control over execution or want to prioritize specific venues.

{% hint style="info" %}
Routing recommendations are based on live market data. Market conditions can change between the time a quote is displayed and when the transaction is executed. As a result, the final execution price may differ slightly from the estimate shown before confirmation.
