# Staking Rewards

Learn how staking rewards work.

A portion of the FLPP supply is reserved for staking.

10% of the total supply, equal to 100,000,000 FLPP, is allocated to the staking program. The staking program is planned for 36 months.

Under the current tokenomics plan, the staking program is expected to include a 35% APY rate during the first eight months after TGE. This rate is not guaranteed and may change. Final staking terms will be published in the official staking rules.

Staking is designed for users who want to participate in the Flipper ecosystem over the longer term rather than only through short-term campaigns.
