# What Is Flipper V2?

An overview of the Flipper V2 perpetual futures trading experience.

Flipper V2 is Flipper's multichain perpetual futures trading experience.

It brings market access, trading balances, orders, and position management into a single interface.

Users can take long or short exposure to supported markets and use leverage without buying the underlying asset.

Perpetual futures do not have a scheduled expiry date, but positions remain subject to margin requirements, funding payments, market availability, and liquidation risk.

## <mark style="color:$primary;">Trade Using Supported Networks</mark>

Flipper V2 allows users to fund their trading account from the networks available in the deposit interface.

The network used for a deposit does not necessarily limit users to markets native to that network. Eligible collateral may support positions in other available perpetual markets.

For example, a user may be able to use supported collateral to trade an ETH perpetual market without purchasing ETH itself.

Not every network or token is supported. Always check the network, asset, minimum amount, and destination information shown before confirming a deposit or withdrawal.

## <mark style="color:$primary;">Liquidity and Execution</mark>

Flipper V2 uses integrated orderbook liquidity.

Orders are matched against available buy or sell orders. Execution depends on the selected market, order type, price, available liquidity, and current trading conditions.

A submitted order is not necessarily an executed trade. An order may:

* fill immediately;
* fill partially;
* remain open;
* be cancelled;
* be rejected.

Balances and positions are updated only after the applicable actions are processed.

Flipper V2 allows users to:

* explore supported markets;
* fund a trading account;
* submit and manage orders;
* monitor open positions;
* review margin and profit or loss;
* withdraw available funds.

Before trading, make sure you understand the difference between your wallet balance, trading balance, position margin, and available withdrawal balance.
