# Create Your Trading Account

Create and activate your Flipper V2 Trading Account using two wallet signatures.

A connected wallet cannot trade immediately. First, Flipper V2 creates a Trading Account linked to your wallet and then enables secure trading access.

For a first-time setup, you should expect **two separate signature requests**.

{% hint style="info" %}
Both setup signatures are message signatures. They are free, do not deposit funds, and do not send an on-chain transaction.
{% endhint %}

## The two-signature setup

| Signature | Purpose | What it does not do |
| --------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **1. Create account** | Confirms wallet ownership and registers a Flipper V2 Trading Account for the connected wallet. | It does not move funds or place an order. |
| **2. Enable trading** | Activates secure trading access so Flipper can read account data and submit orders without requesting a wallet signature for every trade. | It does not give Flipper access to your seed phrase or transfer wallet funds. |

## Create and activate the account

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### 1. Select **Create account**

After connecting the wallet, select **Create account** in the order panel.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### 2. Review the setup window

The window shows two stages: **Create account** and **Enable trading**. If a referral code is available, it may also appear here.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### 3. Approve the first signature

Confirm the wallet ownership request. Wait until the first stage is marked as complete.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### 4. Approve the second signature

Confirm the request to enable trading access. The Trading Account is ready when both stages are complete and the trading controls become available.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

## Returning users

Your Trading Account remains linked to the wallet, but trading access can expire or may not be available in a different browser or device. In that case, Flipper may show **Enable trading** and request another signature. You do not need to create a new account.

If the **Remember me** option is shown, use it only on a private device you trust.

## If setup does not complete

* Check that both signature requests were approved.
* Keep the same wallet address connected throughout the process.
* If a request was rejected or closed, start the step again from the trading panel.
* If the account exists but the panel still shows **Create account**, refresh the page and reconnect the wallet.
* Never approve a request from an unfamiliar domain or for an unexpected wallet address.
