# Flipper V2 FAQ

Answers to common questions about Flipper V2 wallets, Trading Accounts, balances, orders, and risk.

## Why does Flipper request two signatures when I create a Trading Account?

The first signature confirms wallet ownership and creates the Flipper V2 Trading Account. The second enables secure trading access. These setup signatures do not move funds or open a position.

## Are the setup signatures blockchain transactions?

No. The **Create account** and **Enable trading** requests are message signatures and do not require a network fee. Deposits are separate on-chain actions and may require token approval, a transaction confirmation, and gas.

## Why am I being asked to enable trading again?

The Trading Account can still exist while trading access has expired or is unavailable in the current browser or device. Approve the **Enable trading** signature to restore access to the existing account.

## What is the difference between my Wallet Balance and Trading Balance?

The Wallet Balance stays in your external wallet. The Trading Balance contains funds credited to the Flipper V2 Trading Account after a deposit. Connecting a wallet alone does not transfer funds.

## Why is my deposit not visible yet?

Check that the correct wallet, network, and asset were used. Deposits can take time to appear while the source network reaches finality. Review the deposit history in **Portfolio** before retrying.

## Why can I not withdraw my full account value?

The amount available to withdraw can be lower because collateral is supporting positions or pending orders, the account must meet margin requirements, or PnL has not yet been settled into the withdrawable balance.

## What is the difference between a Market and Limit order?

A Market order attempts to execute immediately at the best available prices and may experience slippage. A Limit order executes only at the selected price or better and can remain pending if the market does not reach that price.

## How do I close a position without opening one in the opposite direction?

Use the close controls attached to the position or enable **Reduce only** on a closing order. Reduce-only orders can decrease an existing position but cannot increase it or flip its direction.

## Where can I find my orders, positions, and transfer history?

Use the tabs below the trading panel for active positions and orders. Open **Portfolio** for the account overview, assets, deposits, withdrawals, funding, and other available history views.

## Why can a position be liquidated?

Liquidation can occur when the Account Margin Ratio falls below the required Maintenance Margin Ratio. Higher leverage, losses, collateral withdrawals, and adverse funding can reduce the account's safety buffer.

## Can I use any wallet, network, or collateral asset?

Use only the wallet options, networks, and assets currently offered in the Flipper V2 interface. Availability can differ by network and may change as the product is updated.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Perpetual futures are high-risk products. Review position size, leverage, liquidation price, fees, and funding before placing an order.
