# PnL (Profit & Loss)

| **Unrealized PnL**                            | Current profit or loss while the position remains open |
| **Realized PnL**                              | Final profit or loss after the position is closed      |

## <mark style="color:$primary;">What Affects PnL?</mark>

PnL depends on:

* Entry price
* Exit price
* Trading fees
* Funding payments
* Slippage
* Execution price

Flipper continuously updates your PnL while your position remains open.
