# Production Release

The full production release of Flipper is currently planned for the end of the third quarter of 2026.

The production version will operate through a new smart contract. Balances, collateral, and open positions held in the beta version will therefore <mark style="color:$primary;">**not be transferred automatically**</mark> to the production platform.

The beta platform will remain available during the transition period so users can:

* Manage and close existing positions
* Withdraw deposited collateral

Once opening new positions is disabled, the beta platform will remain accessible only for managing existing positions and withdrawing funds.
