# Open Positions During Migration

As the migration date approaches, Flipper will disable the ability to open new positions in the beta version.

Existing positions will not be closed automatically when this restriction takes effect. Users will still be able to manage and close them until the announced deadline.

Before the final migration deadline, users must:

* Close all remaining positions
* Withdraw all collateral from the beta platform

Flipper will notify users in advance and provide sufficient time to complete these actions. Confirmed dates, deadlines, and step-by-step instructions will be published through:

* The Flipper application
* The official documentation
* Flipper’s official communication channels
