# 4.1. FLPP Token

**FLPP** is an SPL token on the Solana blockchain. The FLPP utility token is designed to support the development of the Flipper ecosystem and to reward its active participants and partners. **FLPP is the central element of the platform’s economy:**

* **FLPP supply is fixed** at **1,000,000,000 FLPP**, and no additional tokens will be minted.
* In **2026**, three seasons of **FLPP airdrops** will be conducted for active participants. Current airdrop conditions are available on the project website.
* **10% of FLPP tokens** will be distributed as part of a **36-month staking program**.
* **FLPP also serves as a governance token** for the Flipper DAO, enabling decisions on project development, listings and partnerships, and allocation of the DAO reserve.
* During the **first 8 months after TGE**, all participants in the staking program will receive a **fixed reward rate of 35% APY**.
* An additional **20% of the total FLPP supply** is reserved for **marketing partnerships and airdrops** for active ecosystem participants.
* In addition to the staking program, by decision of the Flipper DAO, a portion of ecosystem revenue may be allocated to **token buybacks or burns**.
* As new platform features are introduced, **FLPP will be used to pay commissions and giving up to 50% discount for the user**. As a result, FLPP holders will gain access to an expanded suite of trading and analytical tools, driving demand for the token.
